As the owner, curator, and acquisitions manager for Top Meteorite, I travel the world searching out the newest, most beautiful, rarest, and scientifically significant meteorites. While pursuing this passion, others inevitably emerge. As a student of planetary science, geology and geochemistry, the beauty and intrigue of all minerals, both extraterrestrial and terrestrial, has captured my fascination.

Earth minerals, aesthetically speaking, are generally much more beautiful than our limited sampling of their extraterrestrial counterparts. As you might imagine, when someone is offering a stunningly beautiful local mineral at local prices, it's pretty hard to pass up. I am not a mineral dealer per se, but sometimes you have to branch out a little when opportunity knocks. In the end, I just really love these beautiful minerals and I hope you do too.
