Description: 901.3 gram main mass of melt breccia eucrite NWA 18091. Polished on one side showing the amazing interior of this meteorite. This is a dark-colored eucrite meteorite with many light-colored clasts visible through the polished exterior window.
Physical Characteristics: A single dark stone with black remnant fusion crust covering approximately 40% of the surface. Saw cut reveals a brecciated vesicular interior of various shades of gray and black melt pockets.

Petrography: This meteorite is a melt breccia composed of lithic and mineral clasts set in a fine-grained melt rock matrix. Minerals are pigeonite and calcic plagioclase. Pigeonite is often recrystallized with irregular zoning. Feldspar is found in fine intergrowths with pigeonite, as large irregular grains, and as laths from 10 microns to 800 microns. Minor phases include chromite, ilmenite, and troilite
