Description: Beautiful 61.2 gram unclassified very friable (breaks easily) carbonaceous chondrite with high Fe, with fresh fusion crust on one side, and an interior exposing well formed black chondrules in a dark grey matrix. This particular specimen appears to have an extraordinary amount of pre-solar refractory material or CAIs, unlike most of the others we have which do have some of this refractory material but not nearly to the extent this specimens displays.
Type: Carbonaceous Chondrite, unclassified. This stone is being further studied at the University of New Mexico's Institute of Meteoritics to determine its exact classification and for submission to the Meteoritical Society's Nomenclature committee for official name/number.
